How do I care for roses so they last longer?

To keep your roses fresh for longer, place the bouquet in a cool location away from direct sunlight, draughts and ripening fruit, as ethylene gas can shorten the vase life of cut flowers. Every three days, trim the stems, clean the vase and refill it with fresh water and cut flower food. Always remove any leaves below the waterline to prevent them from rotting.
