Which flowers are used for Día de los Muertos?

For Día de los Muertos, the Mexican marigold is traditionally used. With its bright yellow and orange colours and strong fragrance, it is traditionally believed to attract spirits and guide them on their way. Although it resembles the marigolds commonly seen in Europe, it is not exactly the same flower.
