What happens if the recipient is not home when the flowers are delivered?
If the recipient is not home, the local florist will follow the delivery instructions you selected when placing your order. If you have given permission, the bouquet may be left in a safe place or with a neighbour. If this is not possible due to factors such as weather or risk of theft, or if you did not give permission, the florist will take the flowers back. The recipient can then collect them from the flower shop or arrange a new delivery.
